NCN3 on shared-use footway, coming down tthe hill towards Sennen

NCN3 above Sennen - cyclists are encouraged to use the path rather than the narrow road.

Useful route towards Falmouth University

This should be improved as a proper cycle route

Footway largely given up for cycle parking by the parish church, Falmouth

Three sets of cycle (or motorcycle?) stands in the centre of Falmouth

Motorcycle parking, supposedly, in the centre of Falmouth (there's very little cycle parking outside the centre).

It'd be great to have direct access to the station here.

The route to Compostella - crossing the railway in Penzance.

Will these ever be repaired?

Toucan crossing to the car park and NCN route 3 (and what happens when cycle stands are under-utilised).

Cycle track leading to the toucan crossing to the car park and NCN route 3

Commuting cyclists prefer the paved footpath to the busy A30 roundabout - why not put in a decent cycle bypass?

Barriers on paved path opposite Tesco, Penzance

Plenty of car parking and no cycle facilities at Trevaskis Farm shop and restaurant (just north of NCN route 3)

Cut-through in Penzance

Alleyway in Penzance

Better access through this park to Humphrey Davy School would be helpful.

Rear entry to Penwith College, Penzance

Abbey Slip, Penzance - more or less traffic-free

New, utterly rubbish, cycle parking in Penzance

Why does British traffic engineering require so many negative 'End of Cycle Route' signs? This is wrong anyway, just before a toucan crossing and a cycle link to the right.

Narrow footway between two shared-use sections - is Cornwall Council tacitly suggesting people should cycle on this?

I presume the shared-use sign refers to the link from the crossing to the footbridge?

Coastal route from Penzance towards St Michael's Mount

Flooded access to the coastal route east of Penzance.

Stepped bridge to the coastal route east of Penzance.

Definitely not a joined-up route - a stepped bridge, very un-smart traffic lights (where you wait ages, then vehicles wait ages) then a barrier on the link to the north.

Lights for pedestrians and cyclists on this crossing to the (stepped) bridge to the coastal route east of Penzance.

Poor cycle link

There's a gap leading on to the footway to the route, but the barrier should be removed.

The barrier indicates that this is not much of a cycle route.

Cut-through in Helston

I doubt if this is intended to be cycle parking outside Helston library.

Useful route into Helston town centre with less useful barriers

Cut-through to the Cycle Centre in Penzance

So many cut-throughs in Penzance, it's impossible for a cyclist to remember the best route.

Motorbikes, not cycles, but still a good thought.

No cycling in Morrab Gardens, Penzance (though they're far more concerned about drinking)

Both these dead ends are in fact handy through routes for cycling - route signs needed.

Steps on what could be a traffic-free section of NCN route 3.

Awkward patch on what could be NCN route 3 from Penzance to Newlyn.

Cornwall Council spent £200,000 on rebuilding this path after storm damage but it still isn't signed as part of NCN route 3.

Whoops - steps at the end of what should be a lovely traffic-free section of NCN3 along the promenade in Penzance.

New road widening and access to the promenade, Penzance - cyclists on NCN route 3 are apparently supposed to continue on the road.

Park and Ride bus stop deliberately constructed to block the road while buses stop - no way round for bikes.

New arrangements in Truro - bikes can reach NCN route 32 but cars are not allowed to drive through the city centre.

Shared-use cycleway through the A38/A30 junction near Bodmin - is there a dropped kerb?

No Cycling on this footpath to Fowey - the A3082 is available just to the north.

Junction of footpaths on the Saints Way out of Fowey

Love Lane - only a public footpath into Fowey, but it's a wide track throughout.

No Cycling on this footpath out of Fowey.

Vaguely cycleable track south from Cape Cornwall - very steep!
